Apex Surveying, Inc. was formed in 1984 from a small surveying company based in Riverton, Wyoming. We are a solid team evidenced by the fact that the two senior principals have been with the firm since the year of incorporation and before, and that the third principal has been here since 1995.

Always locally owned, the firm grew at a cautious pace during the suffering economy of the 80’s. We added materials testing services in the early 1990’s to respond to the requests of local contractors. In the mid 90’s we invested in GPS technology. Though still a small firm we currently employ 10 full time professional and technical staff to provide service year around. Seasonal work loads often require additional temporary help as well.

Apex has always been focused on providing superior service. With multi-state licensure and CFedS credentials, Apex currently has two full time licensed professional surveyors, one full time licensed engineer, one licensed surveyor working part time and two EIT’s on staff. As well as talented crew chiefs and other office and field personnel. We were the first local firm to invest in total system surveying. Apex has more than ten years of experience with gps surveying technology and maintain up to date technology and field practices. We maintain a modern design office with the latest is CAD design software.

We are fully equipped to handle a wide array of surveying and civil engineering projects. We truly are a stand-alone firm, and our skills are often called upon to perform in conjunction with other firms large and small who need superior field personnel to compliment their engineering projects.
